About Me

HELLO! 

 

Thank you for finding your way to my portfolio! I'm Ian Steidle, and I am a freelance eLearning designer. I have a background in higher education and video production. Working in higher education, I designed and developed learning experiences for diverse audiences that helped to explain processes and break down complex concepts.

I incorporate design thinking when creating learning experiences. Empathy is at the heart of my process to better understand the learner, the problems that need fixing, and the gaps that need bridging. I look for opportunities to be creative and come up with innovative solutions.

I am inherently optimistic, curious, and someone whose first instinct is to find solutions when there is a problem. I am a husband and father. I have three dogs and I love to travel and explore the outdoors.
